VETERANS
We recognize you, our American Veterans, for your sacrifice and achievements by flying you to Washington, D.C. to see the WWII Memorials – Your Memorials - at no cost to you. Top priority is given to World War II veterans who have never been to the World War II Memorial.

For the comfort, safety and well being of all our traveling Veterans, a guardian will accompany and assist you ensuring that you and your fellow comrades have a memorable and rewarding experience.

It is truly Honor Flight Twin Cities’ privilege to fly our men and women heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at the memorials built in their honor.

Allow us the opportunity to say “Thank You.” Please join us.

If you or someone you know is a World War II veteran, click below to complete an application and mail it to the address listed below.

We will not accept a financial donation from any World War II veteran prior to the flight.

GUARDIANS
Guardians are the crucial support system for the success of this program. They are the most privileged of our volunteers because they will spend the most quality time with our heroes.

Guardians are needed to accompany veterans on their day-long trip to Washington D.C. to view the WWII Memorial as well as many other memorials. Each guardian will be responsible for up to two veterans from the moment they arrive at the airport, to the time they are returned safely back to the airport to their families, in the late evening. Guardians assist the veterans with their individual needs, to ensure the veterans have a safe and memorable day. It is an emotionally fulfilling and rewarding experience to be able escort our WWII Heroes.

Each guardian is asked to donate $500 to participate in the flight. To fully prepare for the responsibility, they are required to complete a brief, but comprehensive training session prior to the scheduled flight.
